Resources For the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Community of manhattan, Kansas and the flint hills

K-State LGBT Resource Center - LGBT Resource Center is available to all K-State students, faculty and staff and the surrounding communities.  The Center provides information on local organizations, on and off campus, contacts for financial aid, non-discrimination, and counseling services.  The Center can also provide guest-speakers for classes or meetings.

LGBT and Allies - A student club at K-State for lesbian, gay, Trans, bi, questioning students and allies.

Delta Lambda Phi - DLP is a progressive fraternity on the K-State campus.

Flint Hills Pride - One of the largest Pride celebrations in Kansas is held every year at Milford Lake.  Camp out or go for the day.  There is something for everyone.

Junction City Teddy Bears - A social club for Bears and their admirers.

The following faith communities are either part of their denomination's network of LGBT supportive congregations or members of the Flint Hills Human Rights Project.

First Congregational United Church of Christ - An Open and Affirming Church.

Kansas Equality Coalition - The Kansas Equality Coalition is a unified statewide group of fair-minded people who are determined to end discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

The Trevor Project - The Trevor Project operates the only accredited, nationwide, around-the-clock crisis and suicide prevention helpline for LGBTQ youth. If you or a friend is feeling lost or alone, call The Trevor Helpline at 1-866-4-U-TREVOR or 1-866-488-7386. There is hope, there is help.
